WHAT TO EXPECT
Plan to spend approximately 3 hours at your appointment. Your eyes will be dilated, and you will have a complete examination. Note that you will not be having your surgery at the initial consultation visit.
WHAT TO BRING
If you are a new patient, please complete the registration form prior to your appointment. Remember to bring your insurance information, glasses, and a list of prescription medications, including all eye drops.
HOW TO PREPARE
Start using lubricating eye drops 3 times per day, and warm compresses for 10 minutes per day, to hydrate your eyes. Dr. Denny recommends over-the-counter artificial tears like Refresh or Systane.
If you are a contact lens user, please stop using your contact lenses 1 week prior to your appointment.
CHECK COVERAGE
Call your insurance provider to confirm that you are in network with one of our surgery centers. You will need to provide a diagnosis code (H25.1) and a procedure code (66984). Dr. Denny operates at two facilities:
