At a recent team meeting, we reflected on the challenges we've faced during the global pandemic. Our staff have overcome office closures and protocol changes, and our patients have reported worsening dry eye and digital eye strain associated with prolonged computer use. I am so proud of our staff, and grateful to our patients, for the hard work and patience that enable us to provide the same high level of care that you have come to expect of us, despite the circumstances.
We're Open! (for now...)
Our office remains open during normal business hours for your comprehensive eye care needs, including examinations, optical services, and surgery scheduling. We also offer telemedicine visits for patients who have questions about their eye health, but who would prefer not to come for an in-office visit.
Social Distancing
Denny Eye & Laser Center is committed to keeping our office safe for patients and staff. Here are just a few examples of how we are working to reduce the risk of disease transmission during the pandemic:
- Screening questionnaire to identify patients at risk
- Strictly enforcing mask-wearing protocols for all patients and staff
- Reduced clinic schedule to minimize time spent in waiting room
- Plastic barriers at front desk and in exam rooms
- Cleaning exam rooms between every patient
Online Store
As part of our ongoing efforts to facilitate social distancing, we are excited to announce the launch of our online store. Making our most popular products available online will allow our patients to continue their home eye treatments without extra trips to the office or drug store. Some highly requested products available on the store include:
- Omega 3 supplements for dry eye
- Microwaveable Heat Mask for dry eye
- Pataday for itching
- Lumify for red eye
Additionally, patients will soon be able to refill contact lens prescriptions online, and set up recurring orders to be shipped directly to their home.
